AST internship trip 2023

On the morning of July 21, 2023, we set off at 9 o'clock from Bärental for an exciting trip to Bad Wildbad. We arrived at 9:45 and boarded the Sommerbergbahn, which took us from the valley up to the Sommerberg.

At the top of Sommerberg, the treetop walkway awaited us, where we explored nature from a new perspective above the tree canopies. We witnessed a breathtaking panoramic view of the landscape. After a relaxing breakfast break with a beautiful view of the valley, we crossed the Wildline Suspension Bridge, an impressive structure with a length of 380 meters and a maximum height of 60 meters – not for the faint-hearted!

Next, we made our way to Grünhütte, where we fortified ourselves with traditional dishes such as roasted pork and blueberry pancakes. The return journey took us back over the suspension bridge before descending to the valley with the Sommerbergbahn.

The day was a successful blend of adventure and appreciation of nature, which brought our group even closer together.
